This year’s mini sessions were seriously amazing! Last year I wasn’t able to take a lot of families since I had just given birth 2 weeks prior to the mini session date. I took around 5 or 6 families. But this year, I was able to take more! 18 families signed up and 17 showed up! :)

I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of Dana Haddon with Cereus Art! She came prepared with some of her beautiful nautical decorations and helped decorate my little ‘Christmas on the beach/nautical’ set up! I chose the Lynnhaven Pier and we truly lucked out with such a beautiful, warm day! A rare, 70 degree Sunday in November with no wind!

Each family had a 15 minute slot and showed up on time – something that rarely happens and I was so thankful everyone was so punctual! We started with family shots, then kids only and went on to take an updated photo of just mom and dad! Every couple deserves an updated ‘love shot’ and I’m always so happy to do this for them! All of the kids that attended were SO well behaved, no tears, no tantrums, just smiles and happiness. Seriously ya’ll, it was unreal!! From the amazing weather to the happiness in each and every client, it was an amazing mini session day! I already can’t wait until next year’s mini sessions!
