Oh my goodness, to start, this was a DREAM session ya’ll! Donnie works with my husband and mentioned he wanted some photo’s done of him and his girlfriend Alex, so Kyle sent him my way! I instantly knew when Kyle explained it to me, it meant a proposal was going down!! Sure enough, Donnie emailed me and said he was proposing and wanted it captured!!! I’m always so amazed by men who email me wanting their proposal captured by a professional photographer. I mean, every girl DREAMS of this and very very few get it! It takes a really amazing man to go above and beyond to make his proposal super special! Donnie and I agree’d he’d pull the ring out during a certain pose and that he did. When Alex turned around when I told her to, the look on her face was priceless! She instantly doubled over in disbelief and Donnie had to wave her over after a few seconds. She was so shocked, she just stood there, LOL!! We were all shaking, shedding a tear or two, laughing and just LOVING in that moment. It was such a beautiful, natural and amazing moment for these two and I’m SO honored to have been a part of it!! After the proposal, we started the engagement part of the session and loved every second. Alex loved showing her ring off in certain poses and kept glancing down at it every now and then — still in utter disbelief! That moment was such a beautiful one — goodness!!
