I met Allie when we were in college together at Chowan University. We hadn’t really stayed in touch afterwards — you know how life just takes everyone separate ways! Well a few months back, I received a text from her out of the blue saying she wanted to hire me as her wedding photographer. She didn’t care about anything else, she just knew she wanted me to capture her day. I instantly was excited and couldn’t wait to talk all things ‘wedding’ with her! She and her fiancé Timmy are getting married at Clay Hill Garden next April and seriously, I cannot explain how excited I am to shoot at such a gorgeous venue!! For their engagement photo’s, we met at my favorite spot – Windsor Castle Park in Smithfield. We walked around getting some beautiful warm, sun flare shots, then made our way to a cotton field down the street. The sun was starting to go down and radiated an orange-pink hue and I was in love! These two were giggly in front of the camera, silly and you could tell they were just having a great time together. I LOVE when my couples can loosen up, enjoy in the moment and just be silly together during portrait time!
