Let me start off by saying my blog has been having issues all day and now that it is finally up, I am SO EXCITED to share this wedding with everyone!! I literally squealed when I realized it was back up and running – thank you Jesus!! So — this wedding goes in my top 5 favorites that I have EVER shot. The bride was so happy, she was calm, absolutely stunning, and just ready for her big day — I loved her attitude towards the day! Now for the groom… he was excited of course, but poor Ben was fighting that nasty stomach bug thats been going around and had been sick all day. When I walked in to where the groom and groomsmen were getting ready, I found Ben curled up in a ball in the corner of the room. My first question — is he drunk?! LOL. The poor fella just didn’t feel good. And to be honest, I had been fighting that bug all day as well. I hoped and prayed so hard that I wouldn’t physically get sick while I was there or that nobody would notice I wasn’t feeling 100% great. The bug listened and I didn’t get sick until 1:30am — sucks that I got it at all but I’m just so glad it wasn’t while I was shooting their wedding!! Okay, back to the good stuff!! Chalana had picked out the most amazing vendors to work with and the most beautiful details. Her flowers were perfect, her earrings were to die for, shoes on point, her headband was exquisite, and her perfume matched the classiness of the day! Everything was just stunning, classy, and pure perfection. Her reception room done by the amazing Michelle Amarillo was stunning as well with everything so thoughtfully designed. I was in detail heaven!! This wedding was absolutely gorgeous, so much FUN and went off without a hitch! Just a happy couple who are so clearly in love and eager to spend the rest of their lives together. Chalana and Ben, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for having me as your photographer and allowing me to be a part of your story! Prayers for a lifetime of health and happiness always!
