When it comes to love, these two have it all! I’ve known Christina for many years and I have seen her go through so much.  To see her with Derek is like the heavens opened up and everything is right with the world for once! She so deserves happiness and in him, she has found that and more!  I absolutely adore Derek!  He is so perfect for my girl and I could NOT be more thrilled that they not only found each other, but are tying the knot next August — and I get to capture it!!  I was there when Derek proposed to Christina and shot the entire proposal.  It was the most emotional thing ever and I cried and shook as I captured one of the most amazing moments in their lives together.  THIS is why I do what I do…THIS is why my job is so amazing! :) Ahh, I LOVE IT, and I love ‘love’ :)

I was really excited that they hired me to capture their proposal (well, Derek hired me for that one), their e-session AND their wedding! Plus it’ll be amazing to capture my daughter as their flower girl — Eeeeekk, I’m already squealing because I KNOW I am going to be a HOT MESS seeing that sweet little girl of mine as a flower girl!  To be hired for ANY wedding is such an amazing feeling to me and I’m ecstatic to be a part of Christina & Derek’s because they’re so special to me.

For their engagement session, we went out to Windsor Castle Park in Smithfield and had a blaaaast working with all that gorgeous sun and their fun props! I hope you all enjoy this engagement session as much as I do! It’s great to see two people so in love! :)
