My favorite Cotter’s had their family Christmas session with me last week and we had SO much fun with this session! Stoney’s Produce has quickly become one of my FAVORITE places to shoot and the fabulous owners were sweet enough to let us not only shoot there, but set up an entire ‘Christmas Scene.’ Heather had found all kinds of inspiration on Pinterest so she contacted the Greenhouse Picker Sisters who had the most amazing rentals for an amazingly affordable price! Heather rented the vintage couch, pillows, mantle, tricycle, and a few other odds and ends from them! When I arrived to the location, Heather had everything set up the way she wanted it, which made my job a breeze! Most of the time my clients want my input and for me to help, which I LOVE to do, but Heather had her inspiration and her took control! The owners of Stoney’s were there watching our shoot as well as the Virginia Pilot! They featured the shoot in the paper and online. It was a cold and windy day so some of our decor was having a hard time staying put, but we made it work! We shot quickly to make sure the girls didn’t get too cold and even had time for an outfit change, plus couples portraits AND a few portraits of Stephen’s parents :) Oh how I LOVE updated couples shots — no matter what your age is or how long you have been together, you deserve them! HUGE thank you to the vendors involved, Heather’s creative mind, and my sweet Cotter’s for never choosing anyone but me to photograph their family :) Health & Happiness, xo!
