Dana is the sister to a friend and client of mine that I’ve had the privilege of shooting many times!! Once she knew her sister Dana was getting proposed to, she hired me to capture the whole moment!! I LOVE capturing proposals…they’re the best thing in the world and I love the sheer and utter SHOCK all over the girls face! Its the best surprise in the world and nothing beats capturing it all on camera!! Mark and I scoped out the perfect spot the day before and nailed down all the details — where he would walk down, where I would be taking casual scenery photos (LOL) and where he’d fall to one knee and ask Dana to be his wife. Mark had Dana’s grandmothers ring that she brought all the way back from overseas — it was ALL she had left ya’ll. And now Dana has it on her finger!!!

You could tell Dana was SUPER confused on why they were at the beach but she followed him along to take a walk and maybe 10 seconds into that walk, he fell to one knee. It wasn’t just shock and surprise, she had NO idea what was going on…bless her heart, haha!! It took her a solid minute to really comprehend what was going on!! After their proposal and giving them a few minutes to just BE in that moment, we went on to do a few engagement portraits!! I loved every second with these two and feel so honored to have been a part of this chapter of their lives!! :) Best wishes you two! Health and happiness, xo!
