Brave comes in different shapes and sizes. Different titles and different genders. Different ages and different lifestyles. But this brave girl I’m recognizing today is my sweet friend Amanda who is not only a friend, but a wife, a mother and a daughter. She started her first round of chemo on Friday and I was there shortly after to document their life inside their home to remember these moments. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more radiant, glowing, positive and oh so brave woman in my life, but this girl… She’s a rock. She’s a pilar of strength & positivity and that little boy and her husband worship the ground she walks on. And God is extra close to them right now. I’m so grateful to know Amanda. The funny thing is, 2 years ago on the VERY day that I took these lifestyle images, I was shooting engagement photo’s for her and Chris. Who knew 2 years ago would lead to these moments, but I believe we serve a faithful and amazing God with a plan larger than we could ever imagine and I’m looking forward to see how His plan unfolds here.
