I know Lauren through one of my best friends and I’m really grateful to have met her. She’s the sweetest girl, and so very intelligent! She wore the biggest smile on her wedding day and I don’t think anything could have ruined this day for her. We started the day off at the ceremony site — the church she grew up in and had a lot of sentimental value in for her family. Lauren + Drew said their “I Do’s” and off we went to Kiln Creek! We all hopped into golf carts and made our way through the golf course to find the best locations to shoot at. Portrait time was amazing and I’m pretty sure I was a hot mess with all my excitement with the way the sun was shining through the tree’s and the LOVE between Lauren + Drew! These two made portrait time the BEST part of the day — I seriously loved every second. We even made it a point to hop out of the reception for 20 minutes during sunset to grab a few ‘golden hour’ shots! Other than portrait time however, the most amazing part of the night was the Father Daughter dance. I can’t even put into words the dance Lauren and her dad put together. I’m known for crying during the Father Daughter dance at every wedding I shoot, but I literally bawled tears during Lauren’s! I always think of it being Aubree and Kyle one day, so thats where the tears come from! Lauren and her dad choreographed the most amazing dance and it was a true testament of how close these two are. She’s a daddy’s girl at heart and she is wrapped around her daddy’s pinky! It was so wonderful to see such a strong bond between a father and daughter. I had such an amazing time shooting this wedding and wish Lauren + Drew all the health and happiness in the world! Thank you for choosing me to capture your day! XO! :)
