When it comes to photography, I LOVE WEDDINGS! I met Samantha and Frank at the beginning of 2013 when they were on their journey to find the perfect wedding photographer. We met over coffee, instantly clicked and they immediately signed a contract with me. I was so ecstatic to capture their day and even more excited that they felt comfortable enough with me to allow me to be a part of their special day! I think that’s what always makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside when couples choose ME as their wedding photographer — they trust me and feel comfortable with me to have me there with them on the most special day of their lives — I LOVE it! Sam & Frank’s day arrived and me and my second shooter drove out to Smithfield to get the day started. Sam was getting ready in The Lighthouse Room at Smithfield Station and it was gorgeous! The room was right over top of the water, and it had a beautiful spiral staircase in the center of the room! Now if I wasn’t almost 9 months pregnant, I would’ve climbed that bad boy to see what photo’s I could’ve gotten from up top — but my nerves go the best of me! Sam was calm, cool & collected as she started to get ready. She was ready to marry the love of her life and I loved how serene was she was all day! We captured a few photo’s and then went off to the ceremony (which had to be brought inside at the last second thanks to the darn rain)! The ceremony was perfect, their reception was a blast, and their choice for dessert was so creative and made me instantly SQUEAL when I saw it… WEDDING DONUTS!!! I loooooove that they chose to do wedding donuts! I’m kind of jealous that I didn’t think of that idea for my own wedding ;-) Everything from the fall colored flowers, décor, wedding donuts, and sparkler exit was absolutely amazing and I’m so elated that I got to be a part of it. Sam and Frank, I wish you two a lifetime of health and happiness and lots of beautiful babies! :) XOXO!
