Last year I had the pleasure of shooting Sara and Matt’s engagement photo’s and their wedding! With their one year anniversary of marriage approaching this month, Sara wanted to do an anniversary shoot. I loveee anniversary shoots and the thought of a bride getting back in her dress! If you think about it, you typically pay a lot of money for this beautiful dress that you won’t wear for very long — so this session not only makes perfect sense, but perfect pictures as well! :) I’m not always given a lot of time on a wedding day to knock out couple portraits (which really are the most important portraits of the day), so this session allowed a full hour and a half devoted to JUST the two of them! Sara got the session rentals from Greenhouse Picker Sisters whom I just love!! Those ladies have some amazingly beautiful rentals and should definitely be your go-to gals if you ever need to rent any kind of furniture, etc. Sara kept it simple with this session and I couldn’t be happier with how it played out. We went to the very spot we did portraits on their wedding day and the beauty of these portraits versus last year’s is the fact that there was SNOW on the ground!! It really made for such a romantic scene. It may have been in the 20’s and we mayyyy have stopped feeling our fingers and toes 20 minutes in but the 3 to 4 hour thaw out session was SO worth it to shoot this gorgeous anniversary session. Thank you for having me take your photo’s once again, Sara + Matt! Happy 365 days of LOVE! Health & Happiness, xo!
