Sarah and Patrick are the sweetest couple. They planned their whole wedding in such a short amount of time and honestly, it was one of the prettiest days and filled with so much LOVE it was unreal. These two both come from very close families so it made for so much emotion throughout the day. It was even in just the way that they all looked at each other. The way Sarah’s dad looked at Sarah and her mom individually. The way Sarah’s mom adored Sarah as she stood at the aisle with who was going to be her husband in a matter of seconds. The way Sarah’s brothers looked at her all dressed up like a princess. I’m a firm believer that love is shown in someones eyes and you’ll see it too in these photo’s. It’s captivating, really.

I had shot Sarah and Patricks engagements just a few weeks before their big day so our meeting was still so fresh and new which made their wedding day feel like we were all new friends!! I walked into Sarah’s hotel room and hugged her super tight — she was so glowing and beautiful!! Her bridesmaids were also the sweetest of hearts. Each one was impossible not to love and just adore! They all had smiles from ear to ear all day, happy, contagious laughs and just so much fun to be around! You couldn’t help but laugh or smile each time one of them did as well!

Now lets chat about the weather…the 100% chance of rain ALL day that was completely nonexistent during their wedding!!! I swear, each wedding I shoot that has a chance of rain, I just pray SO hard that the rain will at least hold off for portraits and each time I get super lucky –knock on wood– and we definitely got lucky on this wedding day as well! NO rain in sight until literally the very last second of the wedding when they walked together to their car after the day was over. AMAZING!! We even had extra portrait time where I made Sarah twirl around like a princess in her beautiful 2 piece wedding dress!

Their day went off without a hitch. A lot of emotion, tears of happiness, joy, tight hugs from family and tears even shed by me! It’s so hard not to feel so invested in my clients turned friends. I always feel like their my own family when I’m shooting their wedding and Sarah and Patrick’s was no different!!
