I first found out about the Still family through a mutual friend. When the Still’s had their sweet baby girl Santana, I was quickly drawn to their story. They found out during their pregnancy that Santana has CDH. It hurts my heart so much because they were so sure sweet Santana wouldn’t make it. They didn’t get to celebrate their pregnancy the way they should have and my heart went out to them. They didn’t do maternity photo’s, get a nursery set up, or shop for her. As a mother to a little girl myself, I couldn’t imagine what these two amazing parents were going through.

Santana, once born, proved to the doctors that they aren’t always correct. She fought hard through each surgery and has come out such a strong baby girl with such a great will to live. I was so honored to be welcomed into their home to do a Lifestyle Session for them!
