It never fails.  At every session, at every wedding… the number one question I ALWAYS get is “what do I do with my hands?!” –insert laugh here–

I get it. You’re getting your photo’s professionally done for quite possibly the first time, and you’re nervous! I happen to looooooove the camera and looooooove making memories to look back on for a lifetime, but I get that some people aren’t quite as comfortable with it.  The BEST part about hiring me as your photographer however is that I pose you in every single shot (other than candids of course). You never have to worry or wonder what to do with your hands, what to do with your body, where your eyes should be, etc. I give the BEST and most detailed instructions when posing and quite often grab my clients and SHOW them, LOL. It always makes for lots of laughs and tends to really loosen people up.

The thing is, I always get this question from THE MEN! Never the women… women tend to jump in front of my camera like BAM, here I am, I’m sassy, sexy, pretty & I knoooow it. Oh my gosh I love it! I’ve been known to talk to my clients like they’re professional models and I don’t even know what I say half of the time but evidently the women really like it and it makes them feel super comfy with me, haha. That has me thinking…maybe I need someone to come along and record me sometime so I can hear what I’m actually saying and then I can share the complete mess that I am with you all ;-)  Any takers on coming along to record this? :)

The point of this blog post — it’s okay to be nervous before your photo’s. I think it’s natural for a majority of the population. Please know though, I will make you feel so comfortable, I’ll talk you through each and every pose. I’ll tell you where to put your hands, what to do with your body, where to look, and most of all, I’ll tell you to looove up all over that significant other of yours ;-) We’ll have tons of fun together, we’ll create some beautiful images you can keep for a lifetime, and you’ll feel more comfortable in front of my camera than you would have ever imagined!
