Destiny and I met at the Brides Against Breast Cancer Bridal Show back in August. She was one of the lucky girls that found her perfect dress at the show and I was so excited for her! She and her fiancé Stew are getting married out of state but needed engagements beforehand, so we picked a date and I met them at their home in Norfolk! They have a beautiful home on the water and we definitely took advantage of all the pretty scenery within walking distance. We started out on their dock – the sun was so very pretty for us! Nice golden hues gracefully touching their faces, their smiles were contagious and their love was undeniably noticeable. It’s one of my favorite things in the world when I get to photograph a couple that’s so in love that it radiates through the camera. These two certainly didn’t mind the camera in front of them and I was totally smitten at the fact that I got so many fabulous shots! I told them at the end of the night that they definitely gave me a LOT to work with — I couldn’t believe how many ‘money shots’ I walked away with! We moved from the dock to their boat (I’ve never shot on a boat before this session so I was in LOVE with the idea), then down to the beach just across the street from their home! Their dog Mai Tai joined us for some shots as well – such a sweetie :) I had such a fabulous time with these two! Destiny & Stew, thank you for choosing me to capture these beautiful engagements for you guys. I wish you a lifetime of health and happiness!! xoxo!
