For those of you who know me on a personal level, you know I am OBSESSED with Fall time! My birthday is usually the first day of Autumn each year (this year it landed on the day after my birthday), so maybe it’s just been instilled in me since I was in the womb! Summer is great and I DO love it, but something about Fall just makes me feel so cozy. Its the chilly temps, the cute leggings, boots and oversized sweaters! It’s the pumpkin spice latte’s… Okay — it’s the pumpkin EVERYTHING!! :) Pumpkin candles filling my home with a warm and cozy feel, chili in the crock pot for football Sunday, and snuggling under the blankets in the morning because its just too cold to get up yet! It’s the fact that the holidays, the most happiest time of the year is right around the corner! But MOSTLY, it’s the Fall decorating!

I didn’t waste any time this year. The first day of Fall was Tuesday, September 23rd and as soon as I woke up, I felt a different type of ‘happy’ :) I dressed Aubree and I in our Fall attire, and off to the Farmers Market we went! I wasn’t sure if they would have pumpkins yet but as soon as I got to the stoplight in front of the market, I instantly said out loud “YAY Aubree, they have pumpkins!!” LOL! Now she’s 10 months old so she doesn’t know what the heck I’m saying! All she knows is momma was happy over something! We walked around and picked out all the cutest pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, leaves, etc. and went home to decorate!

Last year I went to A.C. Moore in August and scored all the stuff it would take to make a wreath for our front door for Fall! I got all of it 75% off since it was still summer! I went home, made it, then waited a month to put it up :) I’m re-using it this year because I’m still SO in love with it and in love with my creativity :)

So I wanted to share some of my decorating with you guys :) Our home is extra cozy this Fall and I love it! The smell of coffee and pumpkin spice creamer fills our home every morning, and by noon, the pumpkin candles are lit! Baking has been in full force and although my hips say no, my heart is telling me yessss! By evening the whole house smells wonderful and you can usually find me curled up on the couch under a blanket, editing my little heart away :) I’m so HAPPY it’s Fall, ya’ll!
