What can I say about pre-deployment sessions? They are so very bittersweet for me.  Mostly because I too am a Navy wife and will have to say goodbye to my husband shortly after our daughter is born.  It just doesn’t seem fair to take a father away from his newborn…or his children at all, no matter their age. Period.  But that goes to show how strong Military families are!  Damon and Kayleigh have the sweetest kind of love and they were so all about each other during this session. So in love, knowing in the back of their mind that they would soon have to be apart for a while.  I really didn’t have to pose or coach them too much either like I normally do for my sessions — they were just loving each other the way they usually do and I got to capture all of their natural moments!  While very bittersweet, it made for some really emotional shots that tell their story.  Their daughter Sabrina was the cutest thing in her little outfit and I could’ve totally eaten her up!  I enjoyed working with this family on the beach at Dam Neck and I hope and pray that the time passes quickly so your family is whole again!
