I love shooting boudoir!  Women invest in boudoir photography with me specifically because it is so important to me to make every woman feel beautiful, sexy & confident in her own skin.  I would say 99% of the women that book a boudoir sessions with me express how nervous they are or how they aren’t totally happy with their body at the moment, but really, how many of us are 100% confident with our bodies?  I don’t think that percentage is very high! I’ve probably shot 50+ boudoir sessions (I only get permission from a very very small amount of these women to post on social media/my website), and every single woman I have shot has told me in some fashion “thank you so much for today, I felt so confident and more beautiful than I have in a very long time.”  This is why I do these sessions! When a  woman tells me that I helped her to feel that way about herself, I have done my job!  It feels absolutely amazing to help others feel that way.  I try my best to make every woman feel comfortable in front of my camera (and always offer wine & champagne while they’re getting hair & make up done to take that edge off ;-) haha), and it truly is all about angles and certain posing to make every body type look very flattering.

All of these women I shot (not all are pictured — I do respect every woman’s wishes when she asks me to not post any of her images) last Sunday are absolutely beautiful, and it’s because they are confident about themselves. Thank you all for allowing me to capture your boudoir photo’s and I hope your husbands go absolutely crazy over them… I know they will!  Until my next boudoir marathon, try to give yourselves a little break.  Cut yourself some slack. Don’t be so hard on yourselves. None of us are perfect, but we are all beautiful in our own right. I hope to see more of you for my next marathon & look forward to making you feel exactly what you are: beautiful, sexy, confident, a perfectly imperfect subject that God made himself.  XOXO!
