Ahh, where do I start with these two sweethearts?! Liz and I met last Winter for her wedding consultation and we instantly just clicked! We got along so perfectly and she wholeheartedly trusted me with her most special day! It’s always such an amazing feeling to be the chosen one, no matter how many weddings I shoot!! :) Their wedding day took place at the beautiful Fords Colony Country Club in Williamsburg and we started the day by the exchanging of gifts! I’ve never seen two people smile form ear to ear so much as these two when they unwrapped gifts from each other and read the sweetest cards! Shooting Liz’s details was one of my favorite parts of the day too! Her Grandmother, her Mother, and herself all carried the same Bible down the aisle — so much history with that beautiful Bible and I think other than couples portraits, the image of all 3 of these ladies with their hand on the Bible is my favorite! What an amazing sentiment!! The ceremony went off without a hitch, beautiful, and happy tears all around. Liz and Cari opted in for my 10 minute rule of alone time following the ceremony and I’m so glad they did — I got some really great photo’s from that part of the day. They sat together so relaxed, talked about their day, and couldn’t stop looking at each other’s wedding rings :) I always love shooting the raw emotion of the 10 minute rule!! Their reception was amazing with the best crowd of friends any two people could ever ask for! Dancing, singing, group hugs…you name it, it happened! I LOVED every second of this wedding! Thank you Liz and Cari, from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to capture your most perfect day! I am so blessed to know the both of you! Prayers and wishes for a lifetime of health and happiness, xoxo!
