Last year I introduced my new mentoring series “The Anything Goes Social” and it was a HUGE success!  I’m refining it a bit for this year and adding in a few more FUN details that will really help to sky rocket some of your photography careers.

When I started thinking about how I wanted these Social’s to go down, I knew I wanted them to be welcoming, warm, cozy, full of knowledge, FUN, and affordable to everyone!  This industry is full of negative Debbie downers and I’ve always wanted to lift everyone higher, make everyone feel welcome and HELP as many people as I can! So I’m inviting you to come along for the ride, sit down with a bunch of other photographers, and learn as much as you possibly can. I’m an open book – you can use The Anything Goes Social to literally ask me anything and soak up all of my knowledge around photography and being a good business owner. That should show how much I am here to help and make you all feel welcome!

So without making you wait much longer, here’s the details, ya’ll:

• A 6 hour social in Virginia Beach to include snacks and drinks on Saturday, June 13th from 2-8pm
• Posing/Shoot time – There will be a real couple that we’ll be posing and learning on. Everyone will have a chance to shoot and ask questions during that time pertaining to camera settings, lighting, posing, etc. Shoot time will be both indoors and outdoors! Inside location will be dreamy, bright and classic white ;-) This is the perfect chance to learn indoor shooting!
  
• Head shots – Everyone who attends will get a new headshot by me!
• After shoot time we will go inside and discuss editing the images we just took. Bring your laptops! I’ll have Lightroom displayed on the TV to show you how I edit my images, and some of my tips and tricks (if you don’t have a laptop, it’s okay! You’ll still learn so much by watching)!
• Once we’re through with editing/LR, we’ll move on to a question and answer based conversation where everyone will have a chance to ask all of their questions. NO topic is off limits! Be sure to make a list of questions before you come! And please remember, there are no stupid questions! You’ll never know if you don’t ask and that’s what this whole thing is about — feeling like you CAN ask the questions you’ve been afraid to ask.
• We’ll discuss things you’ll need to know to run a successful photography business!
• After the Social, everyone who attends will be entered into a private Facebook group! It’s a group of everyone who has ever mentored with me. A ‘safe place’ to go when you need help with something, ask questions, get together with the other girls to do headshot swaps, etc.! It’s such a supportive group of all around GOOD people!
• Space is very limited to assure an intimate atmosphere!
