Justin is one of my best friends brothers… we’ve known each other for a while so when I look at him, I still see that “little” kid and not a man that’s ready to get married, LOL!!! BUT, Justin isn’t a kid anymore and he has truly chosen the most perfect bride. Sam is perfect for him in every way. She’s so sweet, kind, caring, a beautiful girl on the inside and outside and is a new RN! She has a wonderful head on her shoulders and comes from the sweetest of families!! Her dad you guys… just wait until you get to those photos! I always recommend a ‘first look’ with your dad — especially for those daddy’s girls! I had her dad wait in the porch with his eyes closed and walked Sam in… I told him to open his eyes and his reaction was priceless. Instant tears and gasps from him and I couldn’t hold back the tears myself. He was looking at his little girl in her wedding dress, looking absolutely stunning. He cried so hard and ran over to her and hugged her for a good minute or two. I love the bond these two have and it was definitely one of the sweetest moments of my wedding photography career!!

Let’s touch on the weather for a second…LOL! These two had a perfect engagement session with beautiful sunlight pouring in their photo’s and while we thought they’d have the same on their wedding day, we all thought very wrong, LOL!! Hurricane Matthew decided to rear its ugly head in on this wedding day bliss — it wasn’t supposed to hit us at all but we definitely got hit with more than we were expecting. It poured all day (I mean poureddd), gusts of wind so strong my dress was trying to fly over my head and the tent was trying to blow out of the ground!! Not once did Sam or Justin let the weather affect their mood or let it hinder them from having the best wedding day ever! They never stopped smiling (other than the times the tears from emotion took over) and Sam danced the night away until her dress was full of mud! Not a single negative comment or anything! They were the perfect bride and groom to go through this storm together and I couldn’t be more thankful for that!

Their cake cutting…was amazing, haha!! They didn’t want to play nice whatsoever and its always my favorite when the bride and groom have no mercy and just SHOVE cake in each others faces. I’ll let the photo’s below do all the talking on their cake cutting ;-) haha!!
