Oh I adore this couple. Just everything about them — their love for one another, their personalities, their sense of humor — everything! The first time I met these two for their wedding consult, Sammi made me cry, in a good way! She mentioned she had been following my work for a long time and knew all along she wanted me to be her wedding photographer, even when she wasn’t engaged yet. I instantly teared up knowing she’s my exact ‘type of bride.’ I’ll forever be shocked when people tell me they’ve known for a while they wanted me to shoot their day and it was so different when Sammi told me. I instantly wanted to scoop her up and hug her so tight!

We met for their engagement session in Yorktown and right off the bat, I gave Rob a new name… Frankie. Because lets me honest, he looks like a Frankie!! LOL!! I then gave him another name, and then another after that…randomly calling him by his actual name throughout the entire session, haha!! We laughed each time I used a different name and then Sammi got a new name too, LOL!!! Call me weird, I’ll own it. I do random little oddball things like this at each session so my clients can see my personality right off the bat!! These two were like old friends and I just adored our time together.

The way Rob looks at Sammi will make your heart just melt into a puddle. He knows he sees forever when he looks at her. He mouthed “I love you” each time I had them look at each other during a shot. He kissed her every chance he got and squeezed her tightly during the up close and personal shots. I just adored their love for each other. THIS is why I do what I do! Knowing I can leave a legacy behind for these two…to leave behind their love story, just makes my heart swell with happiness.
