Shawna and I met almost 2 years ago through the photography industry. I needed a second shooter, so we met up for coffee one morning while I was still pregnant and instead of talking photog details, we discussed all things BABY! We sipped coffee and I held her little girl Ava (who was a ‘wittle baby’ at the time) and soaked in all of those ‘mommy feelings’ I was about to experience myself in a few short months. It was an easy going meeting with nothing to prove and we instantly just became friends! Shawna is just one of those people you meet and instantly feel comfortable with. She’s sweet, easy going, lovable and isn’t in to all of that ‘girly drama’ BS, haha! That’s how I knew we’d be good friends, and that we are :) We’ve shot each others family photo’s, pregnancy reveal, mommy and me, head shots, and now maternity! I’m so excited for these maternity photo’s because I’ve been yearning to do something somewhat outside of the box and just… different! Shawna’s ideas came together flawlessly and with the help of The Studio and some dreamy light coming through the windows, we were able to rock some amazing maternity photo’s! I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do — they’re simply stunning, dreamy, and priceless!
