The Wiegands are some of the sweetest people around! They hired me to shoot their family session in Hatteras back in December when we were just building our house here in Moyock and I LOVED that people were already booking me for sessions in the Outer Banks knowing I’d be so much closer to it!! I have shot just as many OBX sessions this summer as I have VA Beach ones and my heart couldn’t be happier that people choose ME to do them :)

I met the Wiegands at their beach house and we walked over to the beach access to start snapping away! Together they have 3 beautiful and very well mannered children and they were also accompanied by Victoria’s sister and brother law as well as her in-laws. Her in-laws have been married for 48 years, and when I found that out, I made SURE to celebrate that beautiful accomplishment in photos!! They admitted to not being super lovey dovey but I pulled it right out of them and I hope they cherish these memories for a lifetime. Any number of years of marriage is beautiful… but 48 is HUGE. I can’t imagine what they’ve been through in that time and what their marriage has survived through and it just makes my heart swell.

After we celebrated that, we celebrated family AND Victoria and her husband love as well! They were seriously like models in front of my camera and I was eating up every second with the two of them! We started slow, but sure enough, I got them IN the water playing around by the end of it :)
